BREEDERS' CUP SIMULCASTING AVAILABLE AT AQUEDUCT,
On Friday, Aqueduct and the Belmont Café will offer wagering on all 10 races from Santa Anita, beginning at 2:15 p.m. EDT. The first Breeders' Cup race (Juvenile Sprint) is scheduled to go off at 4:06 p.m., with the Ladies Classic concluding the card at approximately 7:30 p.m. Advance wagering will be offered on Saturday's 12-race Breeders' Cup Classic Day card, along with the Ladies' Classic/Classic Double, which closes at post time for the Ladies' Classic on Friday.
Advance and race day wagering will also be available through Telebet and NYRARewards.com. All Breeders' Cup races will be included in both Friday's and Saturday's Post Parade programs, and NYRA will offer the Breeders' Cup default wager amounts, including 50 cent minimums on trifectas, Pick 3's, and Pick 4's, on all platforms, including all teller windows.
On Saturday, Santa Anita's first post is at 1:05 p.m. with the first Breeders' Cup race (Juvenile Turf) scheduled to go off at 2:50 p.m. and the final race, the Breeders' Cup Classic, scheduled for 8:30 p.m.
NYRA will open expanded simulcasting areas on Friday with designated windows remaining open until the conclusion of Breeders' Cup racing that night. On Saturday evening, all mutuel windows will remain open until the Breeders' Cup Classic concludes. All dining facilities at Aqueduct and the Belmont Café will remain open until the conclusion of Breeders' Cup racing on both days.
NYRA's National Racing Report will preview both days of the Breeders' Cup in two separate shows which will begin airing Thursday evening on The NYRA Network, channel 71 on Time Warner's basic cable system. The Breeders' Cup will be televised nationally by NBC, with coverage on the NBC Sports Network from 4-8 p.m. on Friday and 3:30-8 p.m. on Saturday. Coverage shifts to NBC from 8-9 p.m. for the Breeders' Cup Classic on Saturday evening.
Aqueduct will present eight-race live cards on both Friday and Saturday. Friday's card begins at 12:30 p.m. with a final post of 4:18 p.m. First post on Saturday is 12:15 p.m. with the Grade 2, $200,000 Red Smith Handicap featured on the day's card and a final post of 4:27 p.m.
