NEW ORLEANS (Friday, August 31, 2012) – Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots will reopen its Slots facility today at Noon after a 60-hour temporary closure due to Hurricane Isaac.

 

The Fair Grounds OTB on the first and second floors of the Grandstand will also reopen at Noon.

 

Of the 10 Fair Grounds OTB and Fair Grounds OTB Casino locations throughout Southeast Louisiana, three will be operational today. The Metairie and Gretna parlors opened their doors at 10 a.m. and the Houma facility is set to open shortly, in the early afternoon.

 

Reopening times for the other Fair Grounds OTB and Fair Grounds OTB Casino locations have yet to be determined. Please call ahead to check on the status of your favorite parlor.
