REMAINDER OF BELMONT CARD CANCELLED DUE TO POWER OUTAGE

ELMONT, N.Y. – Due to a storm that resulted in a loss of power at Belmont Park, live racing on Friday was cancelled after the fourth race. Simulcasting at Aqueduct and the Belmont Café will continue as scheduled.

Customers that bet the Pick 6 that started in the fourth race will be refunded, while Daily Doubles, Pick 3’s, and Pick 4’s will be paid out based on the contested legs, with the cancelled legs considered all wins on those tickets.

Belmont Park is scheduled to run an 11-race card on Saturday, highlighted by the Grade 1, $300,000 Mother Goose, including Grade 1 Kentucky Oaks heroine Believe You Can and Grade 1 Acorn winner Contested.
