BELMONT STAKES MEDIA LUNCHEON TUESDAY AT ROCKEFELLER CENTER
- When: Tuesday, June 5, 12:00 – 2:30 p.m
- Where: 620 Loft & Garden at Rockefeller Center in Manhattan. The address is 620 5th Avenue (enter on 50th Street between Coach and Cole Haan). Take the elevators to the 7th floor. For subway access take the B, D, F, or M train to the 47 – 50 Street/Rockefeller Center stop.
- What: Belmont Stakes Media Luncheon
- Who: The following 2011 Belmont Stakes participants are expected to attend:
- Trainer Doug O’Neill (Derby and Preakness winner I’ll Have Another)
- Jockey Mario Gutierrez (Derby and Preakness winner I’ll Have Another)
- Trainer Dale Romans (Dullahan)
- Jockey John Velazquez (Union Rags)
- Trainer Ken McPeek (Atigun and Unstoppable U)
- Jockey Rosie Napravnik (Five Sixteen)
In addition, the following people will be speaking:
- Andy Serling, NYRA TV Analyst, will serve as the program moderator
- Richard Migliore, NYRA TV Analyst, former New York-based jockey who rode 4,450 winners over a 30-year career
There will also be an announcement made at this event regarding an initiative that will promote the retraining of off-the-track Second Career Thoroughbreds (SCTB).
- Transportation to Rockefeller Center for Belmont Stakes credentialed media will depart at 10:55 a.m. from the Belmont Park clubhouse entrance and return to Belmont Park after the luncheon has concluded. There is a limited amount of space, and it will be first come, first served.
