DOMINGUEZ RIDES FOUR WINNERS FRIDAY AT BELMONT

ELMONT, N.Y. – Ramon Dominguez, currently the leading rider on the New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) circuit, brought home four winners at Belmont Park Friday afternoon, widening his lead in the jockey standings to 12 over John Velazquez.

Dominguez began the day by guiding favored Bindle Stick ($3.90) to a 2 ½-length victory in the first race, a one-mile claiming event on the main track. After finishing out of the money in the second race, he then put together consecutive wins with last-to-first Cave's Valley ($12.60) in the third race, a seven-furlong claimer, and Spoleto ($3.30) in the fourth, a six-furlong, off-the-turf maiden claimer.

With no mount in Race 5, Dominguez returned in the sixth race and rallied Precision Farming ($16.80) from far back to take the six-furlong claiming race over the inner turf.

It marked the second time during Belmont Park's 37-day fall championship meet that Dominguez has ridden four winners, having accomplished the feat on September 29.

Dominguez, who won nine consecutive riding titles on the NYRA circuit before having his streak snapped by John Velazquez this summer in Saratoga Race Course, has 33 victories at Belmont through the close of racing on Friday. Nationally, Dominguez leads all riders with 281 wins.
