96-1 SHOCKER IN THURSDAY NIGHTCAP LEADS TO PICK SIX CARRYOVER
ELMONT, N.Y. – Pick Six players will pursue a $20,024.25 carryover tomorrow at Belmont Park after Nice Stuff posted a 96-1 upset in today’s ninth and final race.
Seventh, third, and seventh in three previous career starts, Nice Stuff held on by a neck for jockey Jaime Rodriguez and trainer Bruce Brown. A $2 win wager on Nice Stuff was worth $194, the highest at
Bettors holding winning $2 exacta tickets received $529, while triumphant trifecta players were rewarded with $8,653 for every $2 invested on the winning combination. The $2 superfecta paid $21,144, while the $2 Pick 3 and $2 Pick 4 respectively returned $1,904 and $30,291.
Racing resumes Friday at 1 p.m. with the Pick Six to begin on the fourth race, scheduled for 2:35 p.m.
