KENTUCKY HORSE PARK CLOSED FOR THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY

Park Open Normal Schedule Friday Through Sunday For Holiday Visitors


LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 24, 2014) - The Kentucky Horse Park will be closed on Wednesday, Nov. 26 and Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 27. The park will be open its normal schedule Friday through Sunday, Nov. 28-30, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The park is normally closed on Mondays and Tuesdays during the winter season, and will not be open Nov. 24-25 this week.  


The Showplace for Saddlebreds, the American Saddlebred Museum and Gift Shop, regularly part of the Kentucky Horse Park admission ticket, will be closed the same days as the Kentucky Horse Park.


Though the park is closed Nov. 26-27, the special holiday driving event, Southern Lights, is open every night until Dec. 31, 2014, from 5:30-10 p.m. The other holiday attractions inside the park will be open every night except Nov. 27 and Dec. 24-31. The lighted drive will be the only attraction offered Nov. 27 and Dec. 24-31. The cost is $15 per passenger car Sunday through Thursday evenings and $20 per passenger car on Friday and Saturday nights.
