HORSE RACING HALL OF FAME GREATS JERRY BAILEY AND BILL MOTT JOIN ANDY SERLING FOR SEASON FINALE OF "AT THE POST LIVE" ON ESPN RADIO

SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY - August 27, 2014 - Joining national racing personality Andy Serling on Thursday's season finale of "At The Post Live" at the historic Parting Glass Pub in Downtown Saratoga are horse racing icons JERRY BAILEY and BILL MOTT. The live show, presented in front of an open studio audience and on the region's leading sports air-waves ESPN 104.5 FM "The Team", will feature a special panel format.

JERRY BAILEY is a retired American Hall of Fame jockey who currently is a commentator for NBC Sports network. In his illustrious career as a jockey, Bailey won 216 Grade I races, 16 New York riding titles, and ranked second all-time in purse earnings only behind fellow Hall of Fame rider Pat Day. He is distinguished as the all-time leading jockey in Breeders' Cup wins with 15, including five Classic victories aboard Black Tie Affair, 133-1 long shot Arcangues, Concern, Saint Liam and the famous Cigar, whose Hall of Fame career under Bailey included 16 consecutive wins and an undefeated 1995 season. Bailey has won six individual Triple Crown races, and he has been named the Eclipse Awards' Outstanding Jockey in North America a record seven times and was the first jockey ever to win three consecutive Eclipse Awards. His other honors include: the George Woolf Memorial Jockey Award, the top lifetime achievement award for North American jockeys; the Mike Venezia Memorial Award for extraordinary sportsmanship and citizenship; and induction into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in 1995. Bailey is the author of Against The Odds. In addition to his countless stakes victories at tracks around the country, Bailey has, among his many Saratoga victories, won six editions of the Grade I Hopeful Stakes, five Grade I Whitney Stakes, and three runnings of the Grade I Travers Stakes.

BILL MOTT is a three-time winner of the Eclipse Award for Outstanding Trainer and was inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in 1998, at 45 the youngest trainer so honored. In the 1990s, he trained the "Racehorse of the Decade" Cigar, who won the 1995 Breeders' Cup Classic and became the first American racehorse to win 16 consecutive races since Triple Crown winner Citation did so between 1948 and 1950. Cigar retired as the leading money earner in thoroughbred racing history and was inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility in 2002. Mott has won nine Breeders' Cup races, including the Breeders' Cup Turf with Fraise in 1992 and Theatrical in 1987 and five Breeders' Cup Ladies' Classics, most recently in back-to-back victories with Royal Delta in 2011 and 2012. He also has a U.S. Triple Crown race title under his belt with Drosselmeyer in the 2010 Belmont Stakes. Mott has trained racing greats such as Royal Anthem, Escena, and Paradise Creek, and has won trainer titles 10 times at Belmont Park, nine times at Gulfstream Park, and holds nine training titles at Saratoga Race Course.
