| Sunday, June 1, 2014 Contact: Jenny Kellner vkellner@nyrainc.com MEDIA ADVISORY: UPDATE on Triple Crown contender California Chrome's tentative training schedule; media briefings at Belmont Park* WHAT: Triple Crown hopeful California Chrome is scheduled to jog on Belmont Park's main track on Monday, June 2, at approximately 6 a.m. (Note: There will be no press briefing on Monday). He is scheduled to gallop at 6 a.m. Tuesday through Friday, and then jog on Saturday, June 7, Belmont Stakes Day. WHEN: The press briefings with California Chrome's connections will resume on Tuesday, June 3, when trainer Art Sherman will be available. There will be no press briefing on June 4 (draw breakfast at 9:30 a.m.) and they will take place again on Thursday and Friday. There will be no availability on Saturday morning. WHERE: The briefing area is next to the Belmont Café at the east end of the grandstand by the clubhouse entrance. In case of inclement weather, the briefing will be moved inside the clubhouse simulcast area in front of the mural of Easy Goer and Sunday Silence. * This schedule is subject to change; further updates will be made available as needed -30- |
