NYRA EXTENDS THURSDAY SIMULCAST HOURS AT AQUEDUCT, BELMONT CAFÉ

ELMONT, N.Y. – The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) will extend Thursday night simulcast hours until approximately 11 p.m. at Aqueduct Racetrack and the Belmont Café effective May 12. Since February, NYRA has offered extended hours at both facilities on Friday and Saturday evenings and with the addition of Thursday nights will now simulcast until 11 p.m. three days each week. 

 The Yonkers Raceway signal is on the evening simulcast menu at Aqueduct and the Belmont Café, which also includes Evangeline Downs Racetrack, Charles Town Races, and Lone Star Park.

To accommodate customers at Aqueduct who stay for the evening simulcasts, NYRA runs courtesy shuttles to the North Conduit subway stop until 30 minutes after the completion of the simulcast program. At the conclusion of Belmont Café simulcasting, NYRA runs a single shuttle to the Queens Village Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) stop on all live racing days.

The climate-controlled Belmont Café at Belmont Park offers customers the ability to use self-service machines or bet with tellers, and has a variety of food and drinks available for purchase, including soup, bagels, hot dogs and assorted alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. General parking at Belmont Park is free and Belmont Café admission is $3 and includes full Grandstand access. Track prices are returned on all payouts and two ATMs are located within the confines of the Café.

At Aqueduct, simulcasting is available on the third floor with food and beverages available on the same level at Café Espresso, as well as on the first floor at the Hello Deli. Admission and parking are free and track prices are returned on all payouts.

Available programs at Aqueduct and the Belmont Café include the Post Parade, Daily Racing Form, and Daily Racing Program.   

Both facilities are open seven days per week, from 11:30 a.m. to approximately 6. p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, from 11:30 a.m. to approximately 7:30 p.m. on Sundays, and from 11:30 a.m. to approximately 11 p.m. on Thursdays (beginning May 12), Fridays and Saturdays.
