DOMINGUEZ TO APPEAR AS “ROAD WARRIOR” ON CNN

 

ELMONT, N.Y. – Eclipse champion jockey Ramon Dominguez will be a featured “Road Warrior” on a segment expected to air Tuesday, May 3 during the 6 a.m. hour on CNN and between 6:30 and 7 a.m. on HLN.

 

Road Warriors, which recently came to Aqueduct Racetrack to film the segment with Dominguez, offers tips to help make the headaches of travel a thing of the past.

 

Dominguez, currently the leading pilot in the nation with 124 wins through Sunday, often travels around the United States and sometimes out of the country to ride horses, making him a perfect candidate to be highlighted as a Road Warrior.

 

Winner of the 2010 Eclipse Award as North America’s top jockey, Dominguez will be riding Mike Repole’s Stay Thirsty in the Kentucky Derby this coming Saturday at Churchill Downs.

 

A 34-year-old Venezuelan native, Dominguez captured his 4,000^th victory last year at Aqueduct, and led the country in earnings.
