FRIDAY POST TIME MOVES TO 2 P.M. SEPT. 3, 10, 17;
SPECIAL 1 P.M. POST FRIDAY, SEPT. 24
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (August 29, 2010) – With daylight diminishing, race fans and horsemen are reminded that post time on Friday moves up one hour to 2 p.m. Central time on Sept. 3. The 2 p.m. post time will remain in effect the following two Fridays – Sept. 10 & Sept. 17 – as well.
In addition, post time for the final Friday of the season, Sept. 24, will move up to 1 p.m. Central time in order to allow Arlington Park to host a special after-racing event which will be announced in the coming days.
Post times for Thursday, Saturday and Sunday programs remain unchanged at 1 p.m. Central time.
Arlington Park – the Chicago area’s premier Thoroughbred racetrack located in Arlington Heights, Ill. – will run a 91-day meet in 2010 from Thursday, April 29 through Sunday, Sept. 26.
