Alpacas Help Horses this Weekend

Seldom Scene Farm has generously donated
2 cute, cuddly, adorable alpacas
to the silent auction at the
Hat's Off to Kentucky's Horse Industry Day
and 
Rood & Riddle Kentucky Grand Prix

Proceeds from the sale of the alpacas* and
more than 100 other great items
(2 premiuim clubhouse box seats at the Breeders' Cup, box seats for 6 at Keeneland,
2 tickets to a UK men's basketball game, many gorgeous items from L.V. Harkness, 
and much more) 
will benefit the horses and donkeys at the
Kentucky Equine Humane Center
which partners with the Kentucky Horse Park to assist Kentucky's abused and
neglected horses in becoming more adoptable.

Proceeds from the live auction will benefit KyEHC and the
Kentucky Horse Park Foundation

Saturday, August 7, 4-8pm
Kentucky Horse Park, new Indoor Arena 

Admission is free!

*The winning bidder will select 2 alpacas from a group of 14, (value up to $10,000). The sale is contingent on the buyers showing that they are able to provide an adequate facility for the animals which includes a fenced area with grass, shade, water, shelter, and protection from dogs and predators and that they will be committed to providing appropriate food, worming, and annual shearing of the alpacas.
