BELMONT PARK CANCELS FRIDAY LIVE RACING DUE TO POWER OUTAGES
ELMONT, N.Y. – Due to power outages in the neighboring Averill Park community, Belmont Park has cancelled live racing and simulcasting for Friday, July 16. NYRA Rewards Internet and Telebet wagering are available.
The outages resulted in a lack of power at Belmont Park, with interruptions expected to persist throughout the day, interfering with the track’s facilities, simulcasting, and mutuels.
