EMPIRE STATE BUILDING TO HOST BELMONT STAKES TRAINER ALEXIS BARBA AND SAMMY THE BUGLER

 

 

WHO:              Alexis Barba, Trainer for Make Music for Me, who will be running in Belmont Stakes

                        Sam Grossman, aka. “Sam the Bugler,” the official bugler for The New York Racing Association, Inc.

 

WHAT:            A photo opportunity at the Empire State Building’s world famous 86th floor Observatory

 

                        Barba and Grossman will be visiting the building just days before Saturday’s running of the 142nd Belmont Stakes at Belmont Park.

 

Barba, trainer for fourth-place Kentucky Derby finisher Make Music for Me, seeks to become the first female trainer to win the Belmont Stakes.

 

Grossman has been the official track bugler at NYRA going on 18 years, and has also performed at Madison Square Garden and Yankees Stadium.

 

WHERE:         The Fifth Avenue Lobby of Manhattan’s legendary Empire State Building, located at 350 Fifth Avenue between 33rd and 34th Streets
