NYRA TO OFFER NEW YEAR'S DAY CALENDAR PROMOTION AT AQUEDUCT RACETRACK, BELMONT CAFÉ

OZONE PARK, N.Y. – The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) will offer 2013 calendars for $2 on New Year's Day at Aqueduct Racetrack and the Belmont Café.

Racing fans can purchase and redeem $2 coupons for the calendar, which features photos of many of the best horses who competed at NYRA's tracks in 2012, at the south end of the first floor of the clubhouse at Aqueduct and at the Belmont Café.

Patrons can purchase up to five coupons while supplies last. Sales and redemptions will conclude with the running of the featured race.

The calendar will include all 2013 stakes at Aqueduct, Belmont Park, and Saratoga Race Course as well as historic photos of Saratoga to commemorate the 150^th anniversary of its inaugural meet.

Horses depicted in the calendar include Wise Dan, Fort Larned, Shackleford, Stay Thirsty, and Royal Delta.

Beginning January 2, the calendar will be available for purchase online at NYRA.com and at Aqueduct's NYRA Store for $10.

In addition to the calendar promotion, New Year's Day will include the six-furlong, $75,000 Interborough and 1 1/8-mile, $75,000 Ladies Handicap, a pair of stakes for fillies and mares.
