ELMONT, NY (Oct. 17, 2012) – The New York Racing Association, Inc. announced today the launch of the Breeders' Cup $500K Pay Day promotion that will be conducted in partnership with the Breeders' Cup and other simulcast sites across the country. This is the second year in a row that the Breeders' Cup is offering this co-promotion with its simulcast partners.

The digital initiative provides all registered fans at Belmont Park and Aqueduct Racetrack with a mystery "voucher" worth at least $2, with some worth as much as $100. One lucky fan nationwide will be randomly assigned a $500,000 voucher. Contestants will receive their digital voucher via email after registering online and must take the voucher to Belmont Park or Aqueduct Racetrack on Breeders' Cup Saturday, November 3, to find out what it is worth.

Registration for the promotion begins today, Wednesday, October 17, and will remain open for the next two weeks, closing Wednesday, October 31 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Fans can register now at http://nyra.breederscup.com/.

"We're excited to work with our partners again to offer racing fans across the country another reason to head out to their local simulcast site on Breeders' Cup Saturday," said Justin McDonald, Senior Director of Marketing and Digital Media at Breeders' Cup. "Last year's program was well received by our partner sites and their fans so we're glad to offer it again this year.
