MEDIA ADVISORY: WHITNEY POST POSITION DRAW ON WEDNESDAY

 

 

When: Wednesday, August 1, 11 a.m.

 

Where: Saratoga Race Course Paddock (if rain, moves to the At the Rail Pavilion)

 

What: Live post position draw for the 85^th edition of the Grade 1, $750,000, Whitney Invitational Handicap, scheduled to be run at Saratoga Race Course on Saturday, August 4. MSG+ will carry live coverage from 5 – 6 p.m. of the Whitney, which is a Breeders’ Cup Challenge race, with the winner gaining an automatic entry into the Breeders’ Cup Classic.

 

Who: Expected to attend the draw are connections of many of the top Whitney contenders.

 

NYRA Television Analyst Andy Serling will emcee the post position draw.
