JOCKEY CASTELLANO, TRAINER RODRIGUEZ WIN 4 AT
They separately won the first two races on the card, with Castellano winning race 1 with Ullapool ($3.00) and Rodriguez saddling the appropriately named Mr Rodriguez ($4.90) in race 2 before they joined forces to take race 4 with Diamond District ($6.10).
Castellano’s final two victories came with Joha ($5.80) in race 6 and Runawayeightyfour ($3.60) in race 9. Rodriguez capped his own rolling double when he added scores in race 7 with Silver Screamer ($5.80) and race 8 with Catalan ($9.90).
Ramon Dominguez, who was winless on Thursday, remains the leading jockey with 25 wins, six more than Castellano. Rosie Napravnik is third with 15 wins.
Topping the trainer standings is Rick Dutrow, Jr., who has won 13 races. Rodriguez is second with 10 scores, one more than third-place David Jacobson.
Racing resumes tomorrow at 12:50 p.m.
