ELMONT, N.Y. – BelmontStakes.com has been freshened up by The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) for the 2012 Triple Crown chase, including more social media integration than ever before.

The website, named a finalist in the Best Website category at the 2009 American Gaming Association’s Communications Awards, was overhauled this year and the homepage now includes NYRA Facebook and Twitter home page modules that are updated in real time with the latest Belmont Stakes buzz. Additionally, NYRA has launched a GroupMe featured group for the Belmont Stakes, allowing fans to stay connected through mobile devices and the web leading up to the final leg of the Triple Crown, to be run June 9 at Belmont Park.
