TRACKSIDE OFF TRACK BETTING HARNESS HANDICAPPING

CONTEST SERIES SELECTED WEEKEND DATES MAY-SEPTEMBER

 

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (April 26, 2012) – Arlington Park will offer live money handicapping contests on selected dates in May, June, July and September at selected locations across the Illinois Trackside Off-Track Betting network with a weekly top prize of $400.

 

All players need to do to participate is purchase a $50 contest wagering card at the Wagering Services Center at the selected location on the day of each contest and play a minimum of five races from that night’s card at Maywood Park unless otherwise noted on a specific contest date.

 

Each contest will be organic to a typical day at the track, meaning that players will have the flexibility to wager in more pools (Win, Place, Show, Exacta, Trifecta, Superfecta, and multi-race wagers such as the Pick 3 and Pick 4) than in most other contests and have freedom to participate from any location within the designated Illinois Trackside Off-Track Betting facility as there is no need for assigned contest wagering windows. However, all wagers must be made using the contest card at self-service terminals only. Contestants may invest winnings from contest races into future contest wagers.             The weekly winner overall will receive a monetary prize of $400.  The top four players each week will earn cash prizes.
