HELP WANTED FOR
ELMONT, N.Y. – Saturday, June 9, is Belmont Stakes Day and The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) will be hiring betting clerks, whitecaps, ushers, parking and cleaning staff to make it the most exciting and enjoyable day of racing in New York.
On Tuesday, April 24, Wednesday, April 25, and Thursday, April 26, NYRA will host job fairs at Aqueduct Racetrack from 2 – 6 p.m. in the Manhattan Terrace on the third floor of the Clubhouse. On Tuesday, April 24, Wednesday, April 25, and Thursday, April 26, NYRA will host job fairs at Aqueduct Racetrack from 2 – 6 p.m. in the Manhattan Terrace on the third floor of the Clubhouse. Job fair attendees should enter the building through the main Clubhouse entrance and park in the Aqueduct Racetrack general employee lot.
Saturday, April 28, NYRA will conduct interviews for Belmont Stakes Day positions from 12 – 5 p.m. in the Marquee Tent at
Applicants for positions other than betting clerks must be at least 16 years of age with working papers and have with them two forms of identification (I-9 appropriate). Betting clerk applicants must be at least 18 years of age, present a current resume, and have a minimum of three years of cash handling experience.
