WATCH AND WAGER ON DUBAI WORLD CUP AT AQUEDUCT, BELMONT CAFÉ

OZONE PARK, N.Y. – Fans can watch and wager on next Saturday's $10 million Dubai World Cup and the undercard from Meydan Racecourse beginning Friday, March 30, at Aqueduct Racetrack and the Belmont Café simulcast center.

Both NYRA locations will offer advance wagering Friday for the eight stakes on Dubai World Cup Day, Saturday, March 31. Advance and race day wagering will also be available through Telebet and NYRARewards.com. All Meydan races will be included in both Friday's and Saturday's Post Parade programs.

On Saturday, March 31, Aqueduct and the Belmont Café will open at 8:45 a.m. and Meydan's races will be simulcast live, with select mutuel and self-service windows on the first floor at Aqueduct and the Belmont Café opening at 8:50 a.m.

Horseplayers will also be able to catch action from Dubai on the NYRA Network, Channel 71 on Time Warner's basic cable system and Channel 27 on Verizon FIOS, including a special Dubai World Cup preview on The National Racing Report, which will air on Friday at 10 a.m. rather than in its usual Saturday time slot. Saturday's Dubai races will be broadcast on the NYRA Network, as well as on the Nassau and Suffolk Off-Track Betting in-home channel from 9:00 a.m. until approximately 11:30 a.m.

Saturday's schedule begins with the Godolphin Mile at 9:10 a.m. EDT, followed by the Dubai Gold Cup (9:45 a.m.), UAE Derby (10:25 a.m.), Al Quoz Sprint (11:00 a.m.), Dubai Golden Shaheen (11:35 a.m.), Dubai Duty Free (12:25 p.m.), Dubai Sheema Classic (1:00 p.m.) and the world's richest race, the 17th running of the $10 million Dubai World Cup, sponsored by Emirates Airline (1:40 p.m.).

The betting menu for the World Cup card will include the following: win, place (the North American equivalent of place and show), exacta, trifecta, superfecta, daily double, Pick 3, and Pick 6 wagering. Trifecta and superfecta carryovers on all undercard races will go to the Dubai World Cup.

Reigning champion 3-year-old filly, Royal Delta, winner of the Grade 1 TVG Alabama at Saratoga in 2011, is among the expected North American entrants for the World Cup, which will be run over Meydan's Tapeta all-weather surface. Trained by Hall of Famer Bill Mott, Royal Delta will be ridden by Jose Lezcano, a regular on the NYRA circuit, in the 1¼-mile race. California-based Game On Dude, winner of the 2011 Santa Anita Handicap and Goodwood Stakes is also likely to start in the World Cup.

Other North American graded stakes winners expected to compete on World Cup Day include New York-bred Giant Ryan, winner of Belmont's Grade 1 Vosburgh last fall (Dubai Golden Shaheen) and Regally Ready, winner of the 2011 Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint at Churchill Downs (Al Quoz Sprint).

In addition to the Dubai races, Aqueduct will offer 10 live races beginning at 12:50 p.m., including a $250,000 Guaranteed Late Pick 4 on races 7-10.
