NEW ORLEANS (Friday, March 30, 2012) – The first-ever Pick 18 at Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots returned $4,667.05 to a single bettor who had 10 of the winners on his ticket. Because the Pick 18 was a one-day-only wager, there was a mandatory payout of the entire pool.

 

The post-time favorite won six of the 18 races and the morning line favorite delivered in only four of 18.

 

The Pick 18 pool totaled $6,222.70.
