NEW ORLEANS (Thursday, February 23, 2012) – FairGroundsRaceCourse.com, the official website of Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots, re-launched today with a new design and a more intuitive layout.
“Visitors to FairGroundsRaceCourse.com will find their way to the information they need in less time and with fewer clicks,” said Senior Director of Marketing Mark Conner. “Whether it’s handicapping data, slots promotions or Starling Racing dates, our guests will now be able to navigate the site much more efficiently. We’ve revamped and streamlined the architectural mapping of the site while enhancing the overall content.”
The new website is divided into three primary sections reflecting Fair Grounds’ main businesses: “Slots” for details on Fair Grounds’ state-of-the-art slot facility and its 620 machines; “Racing” for information on Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse racing at the nation’s third-oldest racetrack; and “OTB/Video Poker” for specifics on the 10 Fair Grounds OTB Casino locations throughout Southeast Louisiana, nine of which offer Video Poker.
Among other changes FairGroundsRaceCourse.com visitors will notice are an improved Online Store, with Fair Grounds logo apparel and other gifts for mail-order purchase; a “live” tote board with real-time odds and wagering data, plus video race replays; an enhanced Group Sales and Visit information repository with integrated RFP links; and a Community Relations page detailing Fair Grounds’ latest charitable giving.
