ALBARADO SUFFERS BROKEN HEEL IN PRE-RACE MISHAP

NEW ORLEANS (Sunday, January 02, 2011) – Jockey Robby Albarado suffered a broken right heel when he was dismounted by 3-year-old filly Mollys Missb’havin while leaving the paddock for Race 2.

Albarado was transported to Tulane Medical Center for X-rays. Albarado told a track official a CT scan was being scheduled to determine whether surgery is necessary.
