NYRA ANNOUNCES
In order to accommodate additional customers, the Belmont Café simulcasting area has been expanded to include an adjacent area in the clubhouse. This provides approximately 150 additional seats, creating a total capacity of approximately 500.
“We have had very positive customer response since opening the Belmont Café on December 12,” said NYRA President and CEO
In addition to heating that provides warmth to the entire Belmont Café simulcast area, there are now additional restrooms available for men and women.
There will be 18 large flat-screen televisions added to the Belmont Café, with 12 going into the café and six in the expansion area. In addition to racing signals, all National Football League games will also be available.
The Belmont Café offers customers the ability to use self-service machines or bet with tellers, and has a variety of food and drinks available for purchase, including soup, bagels, hot dogs and assorted alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Hours of operation at the Belmont Café are 11 a.m. through the conclusion of live racing at Santa Anita, usually between 7 and 8 p.m. On non-racing days at NYRA tracks and Santa Anita, the Belmont Cafe will be open from approximately 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Parking and admission at The Belmont Café are free, with track prices paid on all payouts. Available programs include the Post Parade, Daily Racing Form, and Daily Racing Program. There is also an ATM onsite.
