CAPIXABA VICTORIOUS FOR FIFTH TIME DURING FALL MEET
LAUREL, MD. 12-01-10---Capixaba led into the stretch for the fifth straight time on his way to another victory at Laurel Park during the fall meeting. For the fifth consecutive time, leading rider Forest Boyce merely held the reins as the 3-year old son of Wildcat Heir galloped under the wire to win by 1-1/2 lengths, this time stepping up to beat $15,000 claimers after beating $7,500 company in his past four starts.

Albert also saddled the chestnut gelding to first place finishes on Oct. 30 and Nov. 18, while Ferris Allen trained him for scores on Sept. 18 and Oct. 11.
Kit Kats Luck is a perfect four-for-four during the stand, which began Sept. 11 and will end Dec. 18.
SMITH TAKES OVER LEAD IN TRAINER STANDINGS
Hamilton Smith moved into first place in the trainer standings after Heavenly Moon ($4.80) won today’s fourth race. The victory was the 16th of the fall meet for the 65-year-old conditioner, one more than John Rigattieri. Ferris Allen and Dickie Small trail Smith by two with Scott Lake (12) and Charles Assimakopoulos (12) also within striking distance with 11 live racing days remaining in 2010.
Forest Boyce leads the jockey standings with 55 winners, including three Wednesday afternoon. The 26-year-old has three days remaining as an apprentice rider and officially becomes a journeyman on Dec. 5. She has 121 career victories, including 113 this year. The Garrison Forest School graduate has 90 winners since June 29.
