Jockey and Quarter Horse Notifications Added to
Free Equibase Virtual Stable® Service
Equibase Company LLC, the Thoroughbred industry’s official database for racing information, has enhanced its Virtual Stable e-mail service with the addition of jockey notifications and American Quarter Horse trial and stakes race notifications, it was announced today by Equibase Company Vice President of Sales Victor Espinosa.
“Jockeys are some of the industry’s most recognizable and identifiable personalities, and now, through Virtual Stable, fans have a convenient way to keep up with entries and results for their favorite riders on a daily basis,” said Espinosa. “At the same time, we’ve made it simpler for fans to stay current with the best of American Quarter Horse racing.”
“The addition of American Quarter Horse stakes and trial notifications to Virtual Stable makes it easy for fans to follow the biggest names — both equine and human — in American Quarter Horse racing,” said Trey Buck, executive director of racing for the American Quarter Horse Association. “The trial notifications, in particular, will help generate interest in the qualifying heats for our sport’s premier events, thereby helping build early enthusiasm for these races.”
The Equibase Virtual Stable is a free e-mail notification service that apprises customers of racing activity that is important to them. In addition to the jockey and American Quarter Horse stakes race notifications, Virtual Stable also enables customers to follow individual horses and trainers, Thoroughbred stakes races, the leading contenders on the Road to the Triple Crown and Breeders’ Cup World Championships, and large carryover pools.
