AQUEDUCT NOW OPEN FOR DARK DAY SIMULCASTING MONDAYS AND TUESDAYS IN ADDITION TO FULL-CARD SIMULCASTING AT BELMONT PARK

OZONE PARK, N.Y. – In addition to the full-card simulcasting that will be offered at Belmont Park’s Belmont Café starting on Sunday, December 12, The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) has announced that Aqueduct Racetrack will be open for dark day simulcasting on Mondays and Tuesdays, beginning December 13.

Free parking and admission will be offered at Aqueduct on Mondays and Tuesdays, with the 2nd floor of the Clubhouse open from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

As announced yesterday, NYRA will offer full-card simulcasting at Belmont Park’s Belmont Café beginning on Sunday, December 12. Parking at Belmont, admission to the heated café area, and racing programs will be free. Once inside, customers will be able to use self-service machines or bet with tellers. The Belmont Café kitchen will offer a variety of refreshments for purchase, including soup, bagels, hot dogs and assorted beverages. The Café will be open for simulcasting seven days per week from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.

In addition to offering new NYRA Rewards members double cash rewards for three months from January 1-March 31, 2011, NYRA has simplified the online sign-up process for its account wagering service, allowing individuals to instantly open, fund, and bet from NYRA Rewards accounts set up at www.nyrarewards.com.

NYRA Rewards, which already returns the largest rebates among all account wagering platforms based in the United States, allows horseplayers to earn cash back for wagers made on track, through the NYRA Rewards telephone service, on mobile devices, and online through www.nyrarewards.com. NYRA Rewards customers receive their rebate on the first of each month, with the payment based on their level of wagering activity over the previous month.

Those interested in signing up for NYRA Rewards can do so on the NYRA Rewards website or at a customer service booth at Aqueduct Racetrack. Instant online sign-ups will begin Wednesday, December 15, and individuals may also visit a sign-up kiosk on-track at Aqueduct located at the first floor customer service booth.

NYRA Rewards, New York’s premier phone and Internet wagering program, is open seven days a week, offers customers the convenience of express funding, does not require members to maintain a minimum account balance, and does not charge any wagering transaction fees. For a complete cash rebate schedule or for additional information, please visit www.nyrarewards.com.
