Live racing cancelled at Aqueduct Thursday, simulcasting available
OZONE PARK, N.Y. - Due to today's extreme weather conditions including sub zero wind chills, and out of a continued abundance of caution for the safety of our jockeys and our equine athletes, the New York Racing Association has cancelled live racing at Aqueduct Racetrack for Thursday, January 8. Aqueduct and the Belmont Cafe at Belmont Park will remain open today for simulcasting. Live racing is scheduled to resume at Aqueduct Racetrack on Friday, January 9.
