FAST N FINE LOOKIN DOMINATES IN HER REMINGTON PARK DEBUT

OKLAHOMA CITY – Owner and trainer C.R. Trout was excited about the talent in his barn and the potential for a successful Remington Park Thoroughbred Season prior to the Opening Weekend in August. As the meet moves into mid-September, his positive expectations are coming to fruition.

Saturday night at Remington Park, Trout saddled Fast N Fine Lookin to victory. The 3-year-old filly posted a 7-1/2 length triumph in a $30,000 allowance event for fillies going five furlongs. Fast N Fine Lookin battled briefly for the lead before taking over midway through the lone turn. Moving into the stretch, jockey Luis Quinonez set her down for the drive and she responded by easily pulling away from her six rivals, crossing the finish in :56.79 seconds over a muddy main track.

The win moves the Trout training operation line to three wins, three seconds and four thirds from 12 starts on the young season for an in the money rate of 83-percent.

Fast N Fine Lookin’s impressive Remington Park debut came as the wagering favorite at 6-5 odds, paying $4.40 to win, $2.80 to place and $2.40 to show. Home Town Gal rallied for a distant second and paid $4.40 to place and $3 to show. Stephanies Wildcat was third and returned $2.40 to show.

A winner in two of three career starts, Fast N Fine Lookin made $17,898 for her romp to push her overall earnings to $33,738. Bred in Kentucky, Fast N Fine Lookin is by Forestry from the Unbridled’s Song mare Somethingintheway.
