Riskaverse Quotes

Tom Albertrani, winning trainer of Miss Frost (No. 2): "Her last two races she's made steps forward; it was a tremendous performance from her. We weren't planning on being on the front end, but it's just the way things worked out. She was just dragging Edgar along. Down the backside I thought maybe she was doing too much for her own good, but once they came to her she just re-broke again. Edgar had a ton of horse the whole way."

"I believe we'll look at Keeneland [G1 Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup, October 11]. She's won three in a row, so we might just step her up now while she's in form. We'll see how she comes out of it."

Edgar Prado, winning jockey aboard Miss Frost (No. 2): "She's a little funny to ride, you know? We've had to figure out the best way to ride her and it seems like we're finding the key for her. She relaxed on the backside, you can see she pricked her ears and waited for competition. When the competition came, she picked it up and finished good. I think she's getting more mature. She likes this turf course, [with the] little tight turns. She made the turns beautifully. The way she is in the stretch, she wants to drift a little bit, but as long as they're running, it's OK, I don't mind."
