REMINGTON PARK'S THOROENDURO CONTEST BEGINS AUG. 23 WITH $9,000 IN PRIZES!
OKLAHOMA CITY – Remington Park will begin its popular, and free, online handicapping contest on Saturday, Aug. 23 as ThoroEnduro returns with $9,000 in cash prizes.
The free game will be played from Aug. 23 thru the end of the Remington Park season on Sunday, Dec. 14. Registration is underway at www.thoroenduro.com
"Remington Park is thrilled to bring ThoroEnduro back again for the 2014 Thoroughbred Season," said announcer and communications manager Dale Day. "Participation in the game has grown yearly and is successful in drawing horseplayers from across North America to the Remington Park action. The prize winners last year hailed from Illinois, Pennsylvania, Arizona, New Jersey, Massachusetts, New York and Oklahoma."
ThoroEnduro challenges players to select a horse in each contest race, during every race date of the game. As long as at least one of the player's selected horses finishes in the top four positions of its race, the player moves on in the contest. If the chosen horse finishes with win, place and show money to its credit on the toteboard, the player will accumulate that 'virtual' money. The contestants with the highest accumulation of 'virtual' win, place and show money at the end of the game, will share in the prize money. The Grand Prize is $4,000 with prize money paid through the seventh-place finisher.
The player that selects the most winners during ThoroEnduro will be awarded a $1,000 prize. Complete rules for ThoroEnduro can be found online.
Remington Park is open daily at 10:30am for simulcast racing and casino gaming, featuring the Bricktown Brewery on the casino floor. Admission, general parking and valet parking are always free at Remington Park, the home of the Grade 3, $400,000 Oklahoma Derby on Sunday, Sept. 28.
