We were a little surprised off of an [eight] month layoff over a soft turf course. We thought he might get a little tired, but he was very game. Jose rode him well and he's a really neat horse. We're so thankful that [owner] Sheikh Hamdan was patient with him. We haven't thought too far ahead with him, but obviously he's a very nice stakes horse."
