Jockey Irad Ortiz released from hospital

Wednesday, June 25, 2014   Contact: Jon Forbes jforbes@nyrainc.com   Jockey Irad Ortiz released from hospital   ELMONT, N.Y. - Jockey Irad Ortiz, Jr. was released from North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset on Wednesday evening after tests revealed no fractures, according to sources at the hospital.   Ortiz was taken to the hospital after he was involved in a spill in the eighth race on Wednesday at Belmont Park.   -30-
