(NYRA) will present a $1.5 Million Guaranteed All Grade 1 Pick 4 and a $1 Million Guaranteed All Grade 1 Pick 6 on Saturday, Belmont Stakes Day. By guaranteeing the wager, NYRA will supplement the difference if either pool is less than the advertised amount. The Guaranteed All Grade 1 Pick 4 is scheduled to get underway at 4 p.m. with race 8, the $750,000 Longines Just a Game, continue with the $1.25 million Metropolitan Handicap, $1 million Knob Creek Manhattan and conclude with the 146th renewal of the $1.5 million Belmont Stakes, which has a scheduled post time of 6:52 p.m. The $750,000 TVG Acorn, race 6 on the 13-race card (2:32 p.m. post), will kick off the Guaranteed All Grade 1 Pick 6, followed by the $1 million Ogden Phipps, Longines Just a Game, Metropolitan Handicap, Knob Creek Manhattan and Belmont Stakes. In addition, Belmont Park will offer a $500,000 Guaranteed Pick 5 starting with race 1 (11:35 a.m. post), and two additional Pick 4s spanning races 2-5 and 10-13. The early Pick 4 includes the $150,000 Easy Goer (race 2); Grade 2, $500,000 Brooklyn Invitational (race 3); Grade 3, $300,000 Jaipur Invitational (race 4); and Grade 2, $500,000 Woody Stephens (race 5). The late Pick 4 begins with the Knob Creek Manhattan (race 10). Belmont Park is also offering a pair of two-day Daily Double wagers combining Friday's Grade 2, $250,000 True North Handicap with the Metropolitan Handicap, and Friday's $200,000 Belmont Gold Cup with the Belmont Stakes. -30- |
