ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (April 29, 2014) – Always among the leaders in fan education, Arlington International Racecourse offers numerous ways to give new fans the best chance at having a successful day at the races, including our industry-leading Arlington University which will have an expanded presence for the 2014 season that begins Friday, May 2.
The Arlington University expansion includes a new permanent "campus" located outside on the apron level right next to Mr. D's patio. This new location is dedicated to reaching more guests and providing the ultimate interaction experience. Coupled with an increasing the number of expert "professors" on hand, Arlington University is a guest's "best bet" for making his or her day a winner. In addition to the main campus, Arlington University will have professors in place at smaller satellite locations, as well roaming throughout the apron level to assist guests.
Arlington University is committed to all race fans alike and played a hands-on role in educating thousands of race goers on the ins-and-outs of betting. Our informative professors are here to better serve you in making an educated decision with your wagers. New or old to racing, Arlington University is here to help.
Arlington University features dedicated individual and small group interaction with knowledgeable "professors" who will teach guests how to read the Daily Racing Guide; how to make simple wagers (win-place-show); offer expert selections for every race; conduct small-group wagering seminars; show guests how to use a self-service terminal (SST) with hand-on demonstrations; and for the more adventurous our professors will be able to teach guests how to make exotic wagers (exacta, trifectas, superfectas, etc.) and how to wager from their smart phone or tablet using FastBet Mobile.
"Students" can also enter to win a free Paddock tour; a free Winner's Circle presentation; or a chance meet a jockey on selected days.
