MEDIA OPPORTUNITY: LOUISIANA DERBY DRAW WEDNESDAY AT 11:30 A.M. IN FAIR GROUNDS PADDOCK
NEW ORLEANS (Monday, March 24, 2014) – Media are invited to attend Wednesday's Louisiana Derby draw on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. in the Fair Grounds paddock. The Grade II, $1,000,000 Louisiana Derby is the centerpiece of the Fair Grounds racing season, and post positions will be drawn publicly and finalized at this event. Photographers and video crews are welcome.
If impacted by rain, the draw will be moved to the Star Guitar Bar, on the west side of the paddock. Soft drinks and bottled water will be provided.
