| Thursday, March 27, 2014 Contact: Jon Forbes jforbes@nyrainc.com Dubai World Cup simulcast available at Aqueduct, Belmont Café and through NYRA Rewards OZONE PARK, N.Y. - A live simulcast of the world's richest race, the Group 1, $10 million Dubai World Cup, will be presented on Saturday at Aqueduct Racetrack and the Belmont Café simulcast center. Aqueduct and Belmont will offer wagering on all eight thoroughbred races on the World Cup card at Meydan Race Course, with advance wagering available on Friday. Advance and race day wagering also will be available through Telebet and NYRARewards.com. All Meydan races will be included in Friday's and Saturday's Post Parade and pocket programs. On Saturday, Aqueduct and the Belmont Café will open at 8:45 a.m., with select mutuel and self-service windows on the first floor at Aqueduct and the Belmont Café opening at 8:50 a.m. The first thoroughbred race on the World Cup card is the Godolphin Mile, which has a scheduled post time of 9:10 a.m. EDT. The Dubai World Cup is scheduled to go off at 2:05 p.m. The NYRA Network will broadcast the World Cup card from 9 a.m. until noon. The betting menu for Meydan's races will include the following: win, place (the North American equivalent of show), exacta, trifecta, superfecta, Daily Double, Pick 3, Pick 4, and Pick 6 wagering. Trifectas have a fifty-cent minimum and superfectas have a ten-cent minimum. All other wagers have a $1 minimum Aqueduct on Saturday will offer nine live races beginning at 1:20 p.m., including the $100,000 Broadway for New York-bred fillies and mares.
