Belmont Park to Host Food Truck Festival May 25

ELMONT, N.Y. – Belmont Park will host the inaugural Belmont Food Truck Festival presented by Smirnoff Sorbet Light on Saturday, May 25, giving patrons the opportunity to select from a wide array of enticing culinary offerings.

The food trucks will be open in the Belmont backyard from 11 a.m. until post time for the last race, which is scheduled for 5:49 p.m. General admission into Belmont Park is $3 and grants full access to all of the food trucks. General parking is free.

The following food trucks are scheduled to participate in the festival (subject to change):

Also on May 25 will conduct the Grade 2, $200,000 Sheepshead Bay for fillies and mares at 1 3/8 miles on the turf and present a $300,000 Guaranteed Late Pick 4. Every Saturday Belmont Park presents a Farmer's Market, with local purveyors of certified organic vegetables and greens, poultry, eggs, bakery items, pickles, and fresh fish and shellfish offering their goods.

The Belmont spring/summer meet runs through July 14. Live racing is generally conducted Wednesday through Sunday. Belmont Park will be open on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27, with no live racing on Tuesday and Wednesday that week. Belmont Park will also be closed for live racing on Sunday, June 9, and Wednesday, July 10.
