BELMONT PARK TO OFFER $300,000 GUARANTEED LATE PICK FOUR ON SATURDAYS
ELMONT, N.Y. – The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) will present a $300,000 Guaranteed Late Pick 4, presented by Foxwoods Resort Casino, every Saturday for the duration of Belmont Park’s spring/summer meet. On Belmont Stakes Day, Saturday, June 11, NYRA will have two wagers with $1 Million Guarantees: an All Graded Stakes Pick 4 and an All Graded Stakes Pick 6.
NYRA offers two Pick 4 wagers every race day, with the Early Pick 4 spanning races 2-5 and the Late Pick 4 covering the last four races on the card. On Belmont Stakes Day, Belmont will present three Pick 4 wagers, with the guarantee offered on the second wager, which will begin with race 8 and conclude with the Belmont Stakes. The $1 Million Guaranteed All Graded Stakes Pick 6 will commence with race 6 and will also end with the Belmont Stakes.
Beginning with the Belmont Park spring/summer meet, NYRA has reduced the minimum wager on all Pick 4s to 50 cents. Bettors who play the Pick 4 must correctly select all four winners in the sequence. By guaranteeing the wager on Saturday’s Late Pick 4 for $300,000, NYRA will supplement the difference if the total wagering pool is less than $300,000.
