NYRA TO OFFER GULFSTREAM’S RAINBOW 6 WAGER ON SATURDAY
The Rainbow 6 is a 10-cent wager that comprises six consecutive races at Gulfstream. For most of the Gulfstream meet, 60 percent of the pool (minus the 20 percent takeout) was distributed daily to the tickets that correctly selected the most winners from the six races, while 40 percent of the pool (minus the 20 percent takeout and plus any carryover) was distributed if there was only one ticket that correctly selected all six winners.
However, on Saturday, April 23, there is a mandatory distribution of the entire Rainbow 6 pool (minus the 20 percent takeout), which had a $1.3 million carryover going into Thursday’s card at Gulfstream.
NYRA will be offering the wager to customers via self-service terminal wagering on-track at Aqueduct Racetrack and the Belmont Café in addition to NYRA Rewards internet wagering.
