CHANGES TO AQUEDUCT, BELMONT CAFÉ SIMULCAST HOURS DURING MOVE TO BELMONT
OZONE PARK, N.Y. The New York Racing Association, Inc.'s (NYRA's) simulcast facilities at Aqueduct and the Belmont Café will both close briefly during the transition of racing from Aqueduct to Belmont Park, beginning at the conclusion of business on Saturday, April 23.
Aqueduct will close on Saturday, April 23, at 7:30 p.m. following the conclusion of live racing and simulcast programming. The facility will re-open for simulcast on the third floor only on Friday, April 29, coinciding with opening day of the Belmont Park spring/summer meet.
The Belmont Café will also close on Saturday, April 23 at 7:30 p.m., reopening on Wednesday, April 27, at 11:30 a.m.
Belmont's spring/summer meet runs 56 live racing days from Friday, April 29 Sunday, July 17. The 143rd running of the Grade 1, $1 million Belmont Stakes, the third jewel in racing's Triple Crown, will take place on Saturday, June 11.
