MILLION ROOM NEARLY SOLD OUT FOR MOTHER’S DAY AT ARLINGTON; ADDITIONAL DINING OPTIONS STILL AVAILABLE

Sales Overall Strong for Upcoming Season

 

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (April 13, 2011) – The popular Mother’s Day Brunch in the Million Room at Arlington Park is nearly sold out but there are still spots available for the family to enjoy a special brunch with Mom in the Governor’s Room, International Room, and on the Suite Level.

 

            Brunch packages in the Governor’s Room and International Room includes admission to Arlington Park, a Daily Racing Guide, a shared buffet and four hour Classic Bar, a seat in the Governor’s Room or International Room plus a fabulous day of Thoroughbred racing for $65 per person ($25 for children 4-11 and $40 for children 12-20).

 

            The Suite Level package includes admission to Arlington Park, a Daily Racing Guide, a shared buffet and four hour Classic Bar, use of a shared suite plus a fabulous day of Thoroughbred racing for $85 per person ($25 for children 4-11 and $55 for children 12-20). 

 

In addition, there are a variety of other dining options throughout the facility.

 

            General admission and reserved seats remain available for Mother’s Day, ranging in price from $10 for general admission to $12-$20 for admission and a reserved seat. 

 

            All of the above packages, as well as general admission and reserved tickets for every day of the 86-day 2011 season that starts Friday, May 6 and runs through Sunday, Sept. 25, can be purchased online at arlingtonpark.com or by calling Arlington Park at 847-385-7500.

 

            Tickets are going fast for the track’s other major event days including “Chicagoland’s Largest Kentucky Derby” on Saturday, May 7; Father’s Day on Sunday, June 19; and Arlington’s “Racing, Music and Fireworks” celebration that features the area’s best fireworks display on Saturday, July 2, making it also the area’s first major fireworks display of the Independence Day holiday weekend.

 

Arlington Park – the Chicago area’s premier Thoroughbred racetrack located in Arlington Heights, Ill. – will run an 86-day meet in 2011 from Friday, May 6 through Sunday, Sept. 25.
