BETFAIR TVG TRIPLE TIARA SERIES FINAL RESULTS

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – Betfair TVG will make $30,000 worth of donations to three charities selected by the owner of Devil May Care, who came out on top in the Betfair TVG Triple Tiara series.

Owned by John Greathouse of Glencrest Farm, Devil May Care completed the series with 12 points, earning 10 points for her victory in the Grade 1 Betfair TVG Coaching Club American Oaks and two points for starting in that race and in today’s Grade 1 Betfair TVG Alabama.

John and his wife Gina will split the money between the University of Kentucky’s Gluck Equine Research Center, the Kentucky Horse Park, and the Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation.

“We chose what we consider to be great equine charities,” said David Greathouse, speaking on behalf of his brother. “The money came from the equine business, so it should stay in the equine business. The Kentucky Horse Park will have the World Equestrian Games, and the Gluck Center and Grayson Foundation have been great sources of research for equine athletes. We want to thank Betfair TVG for making the donation.”

Betfair TVG will also donate $10,000 to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation on behalf of the New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA).

Champagne d’Oro and Blind Luck, the respective winners of the first and third legs, the Grade 1 Betfair TVG Acorn and Grade 1 Betfair TVG Alabama, tied for second with 11 points. Acting Happy, third in the Betfair TVG Coaching Club American Oaks and in the Betfair TVG Alabama, finished fourth with eight points.
