SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Fasig-Tipton “Best Turned Out” Horse contest for Saturday’s William B. Fasig Stakes at Saratoga Race Course was won by John Confort and Albert Weis’s Our Golden Dream.

Bill Graves, Fasig-Tipton’s Vice President of Recruiting and Selections; Bayne Walker, Fasig-Tipton’s Vice President of Sales, and Anna Seitz, representing Fasig-Tipton’s Client Relations and Marketing Department, selected the Tom Bush-trained Our Golden Dream from among the seven New York-bred fillies and mares competing in the 1 1/16th mile turf race, won by Exclusive Scheme.

Our Golden Dream’s groom, Melbi Ardiano, was presented with a $500 cash prize in recognition of his skill in bringing the most polished filly to the paddock for William B. Fasig Stakes.

The ceremony, the first of two during the Fasig-Tipton Festival of Racing, took place in the Saratoga winner’s circle prior to the race. Another $500 cash prize will be awarded Sunday to the groom of the “Best Turned Out” horse prior to the running of the Humphrey S. Finney Stakes.
