NYRA PRESIDENT AND CEO CHARLES HAYWARD TO PARTICIPATE IN LIVE WEB CHAT

 

ELMONT, N.Y. – Charles Hayward, President and CEO of The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA), will participate in a live web chat on Friday, June 25 at 8 p.m. EDT. The homepage for the NYRA live chats is http://www.nyra.com/livechat/index.shtml.

 

Hayward, who was appointed to his current position in November 2004, previously served as President and CEO of the Daily Racing Form and before that was the President and CEO of Little, Brown Publishing. He also held executive roles at Simon and Schuster Publishers, HP Books, and MacMillan Publishing.

 

A horse racing fan for more than 30 years, Hayward currently serves on the Boards of the National Thoroughbred Racing Association, Thoroughbred Racing Protective Bureau, Thoroughbred Racing Association, and the Belmont Childcare Association. 

 

Fans who wish to participate in the live dialogue with Hayward may log on to http://www.nyra.com/livechat beginning this Friday at 8 p.m. No pre-registration is necessary and users may simply type questions and comments in the chat field at the bottom of the page for Hayward to address. At the conclusion of the chat, an “instant replay” is created for future reference.
