INVESTEC EPSOM DERBY CARD SIMULCAST ON BELMONT STAKES DAY

ELMONT, N.Y. -- Racing fans at Belmont Park will be able to watch and wager on Europe's richest and most famous Classic, the Investec Derby, as part of an outstanding morning card from the United Kingdom on Belmont Stakes Day, Saturday, June 5.

Simulcasting of races 1 – 7 from Epsom Downs outside of London will begin at 8:40 a.m. EDT, with post time of the Investec Derby set for 11:00 a.m.

Parking gates open at Belmont Park at 8:15 a.m. on Belmont Stakes Day, with post time for the first of 13 live races set for 11:35 a.m. The 142^nd running of the Grade 1, $1 million Belmont Stakes is scheduled to go off at 6:32 p.m.

NYRA Rewards Telebet and Internet wagering, along with on-track self service terminals and voucher sale windows, will be available until all on-track tellers open at 10:30 a.m.

The simulcast of the Epsom card comprises the following races:

8:40 a.m. – Investec Vincent O’Brien Stakes Handicap
9:10 a.m. – Investec Woodcote Stakes
9:40 a.m. – Princess Elizabeth Stakes (Group 3)
10:15 a.m. – Investec ‘Dash’ Heritage Handicap
11:00 a.m. – The Investec Derby (Group 1)
11:45 a.m. – Investec Surefooted Stakes Handicap
12:20 a.m. – Investec Distinctive Stakes Handicap

A betting menu of Win, Place (first three finishers), Exacta, Trifecta, Superfecta, and Pick 3 (races 5 -7) will be offered.

Past performances for the UK races will be available free on nyra.com for fans to download. A special Epsom Downs past performance program will also be distributed on track at Belmont Park.
