HRRN TO PROVIDE NATIONAL RADIO BROADCAST OF BELMONT STAKES
Network plans 6 hours of Belmont coverage
The Horse Racing Radio Network (HRRN) announced Tuesday that for the second consecutive year, HRRN will provide the exclusive terrestrial radio broadcast of the Belmont Stakes.
HRRN will provide live coverage of the 142nd Belmont on Saturday from 5:00-7:00 ET. The broadcast will be carried on multiple HRRN affiliates throughout the country as well as broadcast to service men and women around the world on the American Forces Network. Fans can also tune-in online via the HRRN website at www.horseracingradio.net.
In addition to the Belmont Stakes, HRRN will host a two hour Belmont Preview show on Saturday from 2:00-4:00 ET, which will include live coverage of several major stakes on the Belmont undercard.
HRRN’s Belmont day coverage will begin with their popular talk show, the Equine Forum, hosted live from Belmont Park on Saturday morning from 8-10 a.m. ET. The Equine Forum can be heard on WLXO 96.1 FM in Lexington, KY, as well as online at www.horseracingradio.net.
Mike Penna will anchor the HRRN coverage along with Jude Feld, and Sean Clancy. Adam Frenier and John Edwards will produce.
